Earlier last month we released our brand new cleansing oil, Nzuri Chamrhi.

Up until now, Nzuri Chamrhi has been available for purchase in a 200ml bottle. But today, we are launching our brand new 50ml bottle - which is now available for pre-order. We start shipping these babies out on the 4th September.

We decided to bring out a smaller sized bottle of Nzuri Chamrhi as it’s perfect for those who are on the go and don’t want to take a large bottle of our cleanser. It’s also great for those who want to try out the oil, see how it works for them before purchasing the larger 200ml bottle. 

Nzuri Chamrhi is our oil based cleanser, which helps to completely clean the skin and unblock pores, therefore leading to brighter and clearer skin over time. Instead of a regular soap cleanser, you can use Nzuri Chamrhi instead and reap amazing benefits! It contains Vitamin K, Vitamin C and Zinc, which all work together to help heal breakouts, turn over new skin cells and glow. Our Nzuri Chamrhi oil cleanser helps with reducing acne, along with other problems including dark circles, pigmentation, irritated skin, dull skin and so much more. It has been formulated to work with all skin types, from dry to oily, young to mature skin - to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin. 

HOW TO USE NZURI CHAMRHI:

Before using Nzuri Chamrhi, we recommend giving the bottle a shake. Before washing your face, pour out a small amount of the oil and rub your hands together to warm up the oil. Then massage the oil directly on to your skin for 2-3 minutes, making sure to get the neck too. Using a hot cloth, remove the cleansing oil using gentle wipes. To close the pores, splash your skin with cold water and then finish off with our Merakhi face oil.

We recommend using Nzuri Chamrhi day and night, or day or night depending on your schedule and what you feel is best for your skin.

Nzuri Chamrhi is suitable for all skin types and ages 14-60.

Does Oil Get Rid Of Acne?

One of our most frequently asked questions and concerns is: “Do your products work on acne prone skin, and can this get rid of my acne?”. The answer is YES. Both our Nzuri Chamrhi cleanser and Merakhi face oil are amazing for sensitive, acne prone skin.

Acne can be caused by excess sebum that is trapped beneath the surface of the skin, or simply over active sebum production. When using a lot of over the counter acne creams and lotions, these products tend to dry out the skin as it works to dry out any existing spots and acne. HOWEVER, these creams can do more damage to the skin as it can become too dry. Naturally, the skin’s way of coping with this is to produce more sebum - which can cause more acne and so it becomes a cycle.

When the skin feels dry, it will start producing sebum - which is a natural process - to compensate for any dryness on the skin. So it’s very important to use products which will keep the skin moisturised and also help heal the skin.

Using a face oil on the skin can help to reduce excess sebum production (when the skin produces excess oil due to being dry), clean trapped dirt and help moisturise the skin. It works to reduce the sebum production as the skin can feel that it is properly moisturised and clean - and therefore doesn’t feel like it needs to produce more oil. 

For some people, the thought of using an oil on oily or acne prone skin can be daunting - as they feel that using oil will only make their skin oilier. However, that isn’t the case at all.

Using a completely organic oil-based product like Nzuri Chamrhi or Merakhi can help benefit the skin in so many ways.

Then, massage the oil directly onto you skin for 2-3 minutes, making sure to get the neck too. Using a hot cloth, remove the cleansing oil using gentle wipes. Finally, splash cold water to the skin to close the pores and finish off with our Merakhi face oil, which also works amazingly well to reduce acne and blemishes.

Merakhi is amazing at reducing acne as using an oil based moisturiser also works to help reduce the skin’s sebum production. Using an organic face oil that keeps the skin moisturised and supple, will trick the skin into thinking it already has enough moisture. 

Our Merakhi face oil contains amazing skin loving ingredients including Neem and Pomegranate oils - which help to regenerate skin calls, heal the skin, improve the skin’s texture and tone. It is suitable for normal-oily skin types, including sensitive skin and mature skin. However, we do not recommend it for dry skin.

Before pouring the Merakhi oil, give it a good shake. Apply 4-5 drops of Merakhi into your hands and warm it up by rubbing your hands togehter. Then pat the oil onto the skin after using Nzuri Chamrhi cleanser and toning.

We recommend using Merakhi once a day - usually in the evening - up until your skin gets used to the oil - then you can use it twice a day.

Don’t be afraid of using Merakhi before applying any makeup, as it can help to keep your make up looking fresh and comfortable for a long time. It absorbs nicely into the skin and won’t make your skin look very greasy or oily - so there is no need for any worries like that.

Today’s blog post is all about our most recent product, our one and only cleansing oil Nzuri Chamrhi.

After the success of launching our HAIRBEAST and Merakhi oils, a facial cleanser was the next step and an absolute must to create. Nzuri Chamrhi is a gentle cleansing oil that not only cleans the skin, but gives an extra glow to the face while reducing redness and enhancing the skin texture. It works amazingly well with our Merakhi face oil!

Nzuri Chamrhi means ‘Beautiful Skin’. We wanted to bring in both of our African and Indian backgrounds to create a name that perfectly describes our product. 

Nzuri Chamrhi is a fabulous cleansing oil which helps with dark circles, pigmentation, acne, irritated skin, dull skin and much more. We wanted to formulate a cleanser which works with all skin types, from dry to oils, young to mature skin; to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin.

WHAT IS NZURI CHAMRHI MADE FROM:

Like HAIRBEAST and Merkahi, Nzuri Chamrhi is made from 100% cold pressed, organic oils which have not been bleached or changed. 

We have a blend of miraculous oils including Acai Berry oil, Chia Seed oil and Pomegranate oil. Chia Seed oil is great for unblocking pores and cleaning the skin, helping to reduce acne. Pomegranate oil works to heal the skin and any inflammation or redness - perfect for those with breakouts. The Vitamin K, Vitamin C and Zinc in Nzuri Chamrhi help to heal the skin, turn over new skin cells and glow.
